Resistance Welding

Resistance Welding is a process by which metals can be joined together by applying pressure and conducting a strong electric current through the metal combination to heat up the welding joint and melt the metals, forging them together.

Resistance Welding have two categories:
1. Transistor Type
2. Inverter Type

Resistance Welding Waveform

1. Transistor Type

– Transistor technology with extremely fast current rise speed and excellent control precision: <10ms welding time, Current from: 1500A-20000A

– Real-time display welding current, voltage waveform and recent monitoring data

– 3 types of control mode: constant current, constant voltage, constant current and voltage

– RS-232/485 communication interface equipped for automation control

– Switching output current direction to eliminate the polarity effect

– Most suitable for battery, laser module, filaments and ultra-thin materials welding

Transistor Type Power Supply Range

2. Inverter Type

– Inverter technology with short welding time and high precision control: welding time: typically <100ms welding, Current from 1000A to 40KA

– Real-time display welding parameters: current, voltage, power average RMS and wave form

– Pulsation 1~9 to provide flexibility for welding process optimization

– RS-232/485 communication interface equipped for automation control

– Most suitable for relay, motor rotor, sensors, copper switch components applications
